first salamander fight

For grins, and because the in-character writeup would never be this detailed, here is a transcription of the turn log from the first fight with the salamanders. (It's reasonably thorough but not absolutely complete. Sorry. I invite other players to augment this.)

Six prep rounds, resulting in:

• Turok: fly, shield, (barkskin?)
• Kyle: resist fire, barkskin, greater invisibility
• Larissa: resist fire, shield, polymorph, mage armor, see invisible, barkskin
• Liandra: resist fire

• Zaid: resist cold
• Farooq: resist cold
• Hamid: resist cold
• Indzihar: resist cold, see invisible [edit: and shield]

Surprise round (round 7): I don't have a lot of notes other than Indzihar's area dispel magic. I didn't note effects other than the loss of Larissa's fly spell.

Aha, you're right. (If you count up the prep-round spells, she's one short.) I guess something must have knocked it down, because she recast it in round 10. So maybe my dispels weren't completely useless. :-)

Kyle attacked Hamid for a round and then realized he couldn't hit him so he went for Farooq.
