Charlos can lay on hands on himself, because it just seemed wrong to have a paladin (even a ghostly paladin) whose healing touch hurt himself.

Charlos seems more subdued, perhaps weary, than he was when we met him in Cardior
He even seems sick, actually; the taint of the castle has really been taking its toll on him. Remind me during play, and I'll try to give more speechifying there.
