I've been bad about maintaining this log.

In the previous session: the PCs had come to the Crock Pot, a halfling-run tavern in Edwest Burrows. They had spent the evening there, meeting tavern regulars:
- Delroy, the owner of the tavern
- his wife, whose name I will edit in later
- his daughter, likewise
- his younger daughter Dalia, who flirted strongly with Kyle and was fascinated with the adventurers' stories
- Marble MacReady, a rogue who wore a crimson cloak
- the half-orc caravan guard Crate
- Crate's gnome buddy Tinker, who made intricate clockworks
- A local bard, who turned out not to have much stomach for combat.

Late at night, the PCs were alerted by screams coming from the kitchen. The mother and the older daughter ran out, pursued by giant cockroaches. The heroes fought down the cockroaches, but were too slow to prevent them from carrying Dalia down into the sewers beneath the tavern.
Turok discovered that the wristbands he had taken from Cole Jenkins enabled him to do a Great Cleave, which helped a lot against cockroaches.

In this episode:
The heroes decided to put on their armor before pursuing the heroes down into the sewers.
They encountered cockroaches. Many, many cockroaches. (You people should be glad I skipped some cockroach encounters. It makes a certain sense for there to be lots of cockroaches, but it can be boring.) Some of these cockroaches were uncoordinated, but some of them worked very well together, moving in an eerie cockroach lockstep.

Slade's nose generally showed them the way through, and they skipped lots of presumed-irrelevant side passages. (Of course, if they were following the cockroaches' dragging Dalia off, it makes sense that they would meet nothing but cockroaches on the way there.)

In general, the heroes could cut down the cockroaches with blazing speed. But every so often, the cockroaches would score a minor bite. And this slow attrition (especially when ambushed) has been taking its toll. It's not clear how many more cockroaches they can comfortably face in their drive to rescue Dalia.
