I'd meant to be more vague about the elves' departure. Since I meant to be more vague, I won't provide more clarifications now, but, well, Larissa might be wrong about that.
That's fine. And I believe we had this conversation on the day after the night of little sleep, so it's more likely than usual that Larissa would misunderstand this.
Elyssisoriel would have been able to teleport to the Cardior aboveground, btw. It'd be the sanctum you scried that was blocked.
Aha. Thanks.
I want to retcon this, because I've thought of a cooler answer: "Agondre is the center of the land. Even when he moves, he is still the center."
You're right; that's much cooler. Ok by me.
Marketplace: whoops, sorry about that. You're right; that wouldn't fit. Consider it fixed. (I haven't, in general, been going back and actually changing these journal entries in the face of comments; I figure the comments are part of the record too. But let me know if you ever want me to.)
I found this paragraph really touching. One of the secondary themes I've tried to touch on occasionally has been that of "home", and I'm really touched by the way you've contributed to that theme.
Thanks. I try to keep the character centered; a lot has happened to her in only a few months, after a lifetime of little change. But I'm not always good at it, and I sometimes think that I don't visit these themes as often as she would. Now that we think there is an end to this (one way or the other), she should be thinking the "what then?" thoughts more. I mean, it's not just about monster-hunting any more.
Man, I yearn to comment on this. Ask me later. :)
If I turn out to be right, I will try to remember to ask you if you decided on that before or after I wrote this. :-)
Again, this is so nifty!
Thanks! (And thanks for providing a nifty game to motivate this.)
