Delightful as always. Some specific comments:

- I don't remember anything being odd about Boniface's appearance.

- Karel didn't give up something of himself and deny healing--Pelor was just feeling pretty cranky about Karel invoking Agondre and creating hordes of undead underneath Pelor's temple. (Pelor *was* merciful enough to keep Karel from dying, though.)

I'm not sure whether you'd actually figure this out, but I don't mind you knowing.

The issue of 'giving up part of yourself' came up more in Turok's fertilizing the dragon's blood herbs--those self-inflicted wounds won't respond to magic healing.
